Family owned, three generations

Frank Hart started with one truck and a promise to answer the phone

In 1998 Frank Hart was tired of watching storm chasers leave Columbus homeowners with half finished roofs and disconnected phone numbers. So he started a company that would still be here in twenty years.

Twenty seven years later his daughter Dana runs the office, his grandson Luke leads crew one, and the phone still gets answered by someone who knows your street.

  • Every roofer is a Hartline employee, trained in house
  • A foreman on site for the whole job, every job
  • Drone photo report at every stage
  • Yard swept twice with a magnetic nail sweeper

What goes into a Hartline roof

Seven layers. You only ever see one of them.

Anyone can nail shingles to a deck. What keeps water out for thirty years is everything underneath. Tap a layer to see what we install and why.

Reviews

What Columbus says after the dumpster leaves

“Hail took out half the street. Hartline was the only company that got on the roof with the adjuster and argued for the vents and gutters. We paid our deductible and not a cent more.”

If the shingles are curling, bald of granules, or the roof is past 20 years with more than one leak, it is usually time. One lifted tab or a failed pipe boot is a repair. Our inspection report tells you which, with photos, and we are fine telling you to wait.
